Your vote starts with registration.

Before you can cast a ballot in Virginia, you need to be on the rolls. Registration is quick — and once you're in, you're set for every election in your county. Deadlines apply, so don't wait. Check your current status, update your address if you've moved, or sign up for the first time. We offer same-day help at community events across Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties.

Virginia gives you three ways to vote: on Election Day at your assigned polling place, early in person starting 45 days before the election, or by mail with an absentee ballot — no excuse required. Finding your polling place and confirming your hours takes five minutes. Those five minutes are the difference between a vote cast and a vote lost. We'll walk you through every option.

Step 3 · Show up

Every election is decided by who shows up.

Local races in Northern Virginia are regularly decided by a few hundred votes — sometimes fewer. When neighbors show up together, the math changes. We send reminders before every federal, state, and local election, arrange rides for those who need them, and keep a network of volunteers ready so that a busy week never costs anyone their ballot.
