What we do

NoVA Turnout is a Virginia political action committee focused on a single, unglamorous goal: getting more eligible voters in Northern Virginia to actually vote. We don’t run candidates and we don’t write policy. We run the logistics of participation — registration drives, polling-place reminders, and community outreach.

Why turnout

Local and state elections are routinely decided by a handful of votes per precinct, yet they’re the races that shape schools, transit, and taxes most directly. When turnout goes up, representation gets more honest. That’s the entire thesis.

How we’re organized

We’re registered with the Virginia Department of Elections and report every contribution and expenditure on the schedule the Commonwealth requires. Our books are open, our disclaimers are on every ad, and our treasurer is happy to answer questions.
